Guys and belts with blue jeans. I just don't know. To me it's just wrong somehow.
I think the yuppies made dressing up blue jeans the 'in-thing', didn't they? Or have I been out there somewhere and it just occurred to me to be annoyed by this?

1.It makes the beltloops handy.
2.Blue collar workers use their belts to hold flashlights, pliers, hammers, cellphones, keys, and just about anything else off of.
3.If done correctly, it helps keep Plumber's Crack in check.
4.It eliminates suspenders.
5.If one was to look at it, a belt makes more sense on a person in blue jeans than a three piece suit. I know my belt serves a purpose. It's all perspective. And I do hang a flashlight and pliers off of my belt as well as keeping my pants up.
Windjammer, I guess I should have been more clear. The guys here are not real workers. They are office guys and they wear jeans sometimes. I can see your point(s). Functional belts make sense to me too.
