Happy Days!

Finally, a night of relief! The Yankees came through and beat the bums from Cleveland. And Sheffield comes through again. Sensing a recurring theme, anyone? And Mussina looked better. Shaking off a little more rust. By October, he should be in good form.

What's the deal with Jeter becoming a target? I know he crowds the plate, but it seems he's been hit a lot lately. Luckily he's OK this time. Bruised elbow. But the Yankees sure have it good in that ARod can just move right into short if Jeter is out. It still looks weird if Derek isn't out there, though.

Best yet, an ex-Yankee whipped the Blosox. We gained a game back. Thanks Ted. On a scale of 1 to 10, the Yankees winning is easily a 10. Boston losing is a 9.5. Gotta love it!
