Has anyone else noticed that there hasn't been any helpers from other countries with the relief effort after Hurricane Katrina? I just tried to find something on the subject via internet searching, but I haven't seen anything yet. There doesn't appear to be any other countries helping out. Should have figured that one.
The US is constantly helping out everywhere in the world when something like this happens and even when we do we get criticism for not doing enough. So, when we could use a hand? Nothing.
Someone can correct me if I've missed something. I hope someone will, but right now, it looks like we are on our own.
I find that sad.
