Community Involvement (Blogger Community, That Is)

I snatched this from El Sid. This looks like it could be interesting.

(A) First, recommend to me:
1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album

(B) Ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want. Answers will be posted next week--great time for strangers to say hi.

(C) Then go back to your blog, copy and paste this allowing your friends to ask you anything; say that you stole it from me.

We'll see where it goes.

Recommendations:
"Rundown" (The Rock is gorgeous and Seann William Scott is hilarious)

"Timeline" by Michael Chrichton (a piece of ancient history at its best and good suspense...much better than the movie based off of it)

"Every Little Thing" by Dishwalla, from the Opaline album

Questions:
What did you dream last night?
If you could look like any person, who would it be?
If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

3.Michelle Branch (it's music to your ears)

1.What is your favorite board game?
2.Where is the coolest place you've been?
3.How old do you want to be when you die (ok, a little morbid, but still)?

1.) Secondhand Lions (saw this movie this weekend and it's so touching and so funny and so good!)
2.) Wicked - by Gregory Maguire
3.) Assassins - The revival I like a little better so go for the revival, it's a musical by Stephen Sondheim.

Questions:
1.) How old are you?
2.) What's your greatest disappointment?
3.) If you could do one other career that you've never done, what would it be?

I copied Evil too, but saved it as draft. Looks like I'm behind the times now, everyone's doing it!
Well, here's mine anyway. Personalized for you, I didn't just copy what I left for Evil. Cool, huh?

Book: Centennial by James Michener. Follows the history of Centennial, Colorado. Not just the history of the state, of course, but the people who made it what it is. One of those books you're sad to see end.
CD: Greenday, American Idiot. I know I've talked about it before, but give it a try. The album in it's entirety gives the feel of a play or a musical. It's awesome.
Movie: Like I said at Evil's, I don't watch many movies. I'll fall back on an old favorite, Lonesome Dove. Not a movie but a TV series, maybe you've seen it? Oh man....so damn good. Don't even start it unless you want to devote a whole day to it because you won't be able to resist.
Questions:
1. Who inspired you to start a blog?
2. Are you a grudge-holder?
3. Have you ever seen a ghost?

(A) Recommendations:
1. The Naked Gun, simply for the baseball game scene alone.
2. A Prayer For Owen Meany, by John Irving
3. Eminence Front, The Who.

(B) Questions:
1. Were you ever tempted to become an Orioles fan?
2. If you could live anywhere outside of where you are now, where would it be?
3. While living as The Highwayman, do you ever sing in the car?

Movie: 8 men out, but you've seen that so I'll say...Love Actually.
Book: Where Are They Buried? How Did They Die? This is a fascinating book about the lives and deaths of famous and infamous people including several baseball players.
CD: Hrrmmmm...I think you could use a little DJ Shadow, Entroducing. It's probably not what you think, so keep an open mind. I recommend the song Long Stem. Very relaxing.

Q1: What do you think makes you unique?
Q2: Whose blog are you utterly obsessed with?
Q3: If you had to leave the US never to return where would you move and why?
